  1. I like the way you related distance/online education to other types of learning (Course recovery and GED). I believe Memphis is trying to be a front runner in online learning. I received an email last night asking if I would be interested in teaching dual credit as an online class. We continue to evolve.

  2. Your video clips give you video a real world connection that made your research articles hit home. Your researched documented information tied in well with your clips. Kudos to the students that helped out! Great Job.

  3. I really liked the way you incorporated case study testimonial approaches in the video. It provided a personal aspect to the dropout issue that usually you only see statistics on.

  4. Wow! There are so many things that I do not consider working with adults. This video brought to light the importance of interacting with students and asking the right questions.

Motivation is key to online learning but it is important that the DE learning environmet and the instructors foster a learning community that students can build from each other.

Thank you for showing your world.

  5. Hello Lamont,
I enjoyed your video presentation and the statistics you offered in defense of your position. The background music was appropriate. It was interesting that you presented "yourself" as the keynote speaker. I particularly liked your interview with the school principal who enforced your testimony. Your footage is nice and clear, what program did you use to create your program?
